Coming soon in April of 2011.... (click here to see updated site!)
I'll be hosting a new TV show that is targeting the senior population. My guests will be people who work with this growing population.
Why did I start this show?
First of all, because I think there is so much out there that the average senior still living at home is unaware of. I want to bring to their attention, all that is out there that they can use.
Also, as a marketing person for the geropsych unit at Morton Hospital, I meet a lot of fabulous people in the geriatric feilds. These folks are willing to share their knowledge with such passion, that I thought a tv show would be a perfect venue for them to express themselves.
AND, I have amazing parents who fall into this demographic so keeping them in mind with each episode, I am hoping that I am helping them, too.

Our theme song artist:
Karen Tripp is one of the Registered Nurses on the geropsych unit Elder Behavioral Health Services. Karen is quite the modern professional woman. She is not only musically gifted, but she is compassionate and extremely knowledgeable when it comes to healing the mental health of our elders. She is our holistic nurse and so she wears many hats on the unit from massage therapist, to aroma therapist, to teacher of holistic ways, to general psych nursing, and on and on. Karen is nothing but a professional in every aspect of her life. EBHS is proud to have Karen on the team. Karen is somebody I always point out when I am giving tours on EBHS because she brings so much more to the unit with her holistic ways.
I am so happy to have Karen writing and playing the theme song for The Show for Seniors.

This is me and my mother, Deanne Zella. She's one of my best friends!
I'm very lucky because I get to talk to my parents every day!
